The Living Tango Marathon

The Living Tango Marathon will take place at the New Living Space, a stunning and elegant milonga venue located in Rome.
The Living is easily accessible by public transport and surrounded by many accommodation options at very convenient prices.
We will dance to the music of 10 top international DJs on a magnificent 400 sqm wooden dance floor, specially built for dancing, inside a completely new venue with many facilities, including a bar.

The closest airports are:
– Rome Fiumicino (FCO)
– Rome Ciampino (CIA)

The Living Tango Marathon is:
– A closed event (no single-day tickets)
– Non-residential, with many B&Bs and rental apartments available in the area
– Role-balanced (registering as a couple increases the chances of acceptance, helping us maintain role balance)

We also provide:
– A special “Made in Italy” Aperitivo Experience on Friday afternoon, where we will welcome you and celebrate the beginning of the marathon with a selection of authentic Italian specialties, carefully chosen to offer you a true taste of Italy.
– Italian and international brunches on Saturday and Sunday, included in the package
– Snacks, finger food, fruit, water and beverages available throughout the marathon
There will also be a Thursday Warm-up Milonga and a Sunday After-Party, both held at the venue.

Registration for non-local dancers will open on 27 July 2026 at 20:00 Italian time.
Registration for local dancers will open on 3 September 2026 at 20:00 Italian time .

Places Availability
A total of 300 participants are allowed.

Event Access
The event is private, reserved for accepted people only. The event is reserved exclusively for members of the association
The registration for the event via this form then also implies a request to be an association member, and your acceptance of the event by the organisers implies an automatic subscription to the association. Association card to accepted subscriptions shall be provided at the event check-in desk, free of charge.

Registration Method
Registration shall use a web form that will be set online at the Registration Time. No email registrations shall be accepted.

Registration Unit
Registration shall be done as single persons. For couples' registrations, both subscribers shall use the registration form, specifying the other person name in the "Eventual Partner" optional field.

Acceptance Criteria
The "first come, first serve" logic is not a top priority in the selection as before it organisers shall balance the event participants among different countries and cities, singles and couples, gender type, leaders and followers. The confirmation to partecipate is strictly personal and therefore can not be transferred to another person w/o organisers' authorisation.

Acceptance Workflow
Organisers will reply as soon as possible to each registration request to either accept it or to notify its insertion in the waiting list. In case of acceptance, an email will be sent to inform you about payment details, allowing ten (10) days to execute the payment. Please note that your participation is not confirmed until you receive a final confirmation email after we have received your complete payment.

Payment Method
Pay only after you receive our email that you are ACCEPTED! Make sure that you cover all the costs of the payment method, as we quoted a net cost. The payment for couples should be done as a single transaction; at least shall be done in the same week if in two separate payments; deviation from this rule has to be agreed with the Organisers. Moreover, please consider that if you register as a couple, you will be finally declared "in" only when both payments are received. The payment method is BANK TRANSFER; we shall communicate via email the bank coordinates when we accept registrations.

Refund Policy
In case of emergencies, a refund request can be submitted via email to thelivingtangomarathon@evango.it and will be served only in case a new participant is found and anyhow not beyond the event date minus 1 month.
